Vol. I August 06
|
Dear Opera Friend,
In launching the first issue of our Newsletter, we have a threefold goal
in mind: we wish to inform you about the newest developments in the process
leading to the reconstruction of Haydn's destroyed opera house at Eszterháza
and the creation of a unique European Academy of Early Opera Performance
there; we would like to shed light on the incredibly wide cultural implications
of this ambitious venture; and we wish to find new friends, supporters,
sponsors and donors for continuing our work.
